Corvallis community builder dies at 100 (Corvallis Gazette-Times)

Paul Gathercoal was well-regarded citizen A long-time pillar of the Corvallis community passed away Friday, just short of his 101th birthday. Paul Gathercoal, along with his brother, James, was responsible for a number of planned developments that now make up the heart of Corvallis, including the neighborhood around Corvallis High School.
