A Fayetteville defense contractor plans to expand its business into a depressed area of downtown, bringing 25 to 50 high-paying jobs with it. K3 Enterprises, a company specializing in technology and communications, will move into the former Sears building at 504 Cumberland St., off Hillsboro Street.

Cheers and Jeers: Skateboarding in community at issue (The Fayetteville Observer)

The jeer: Jeers to a real estate company that oversees a gated community. The neighbors have had notices placed on our doors in reference to our children skateboarding. We are told that skateboarding is prohibited; however, we have lived here over four years and never heard of such.
