The Missouri State Highway Patrol seized 500 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Thursday night on Interstate 44 in Jasper County. A state trooper stopped an eastbound Dodge pickup truck with Ohio registration at 9:13 p.m. near the 27-mile marker for a lane violation, according to the patrol.
