WILKES-BARRE — A handful of city residents called for a range of cost-cutting measures at Thursday night’s public budget hearing, from scaling back large-scale infrastructure projects to revamping the city’s pension structure.
California-based real estate firm Carlsberg Management Co. expects to close on a deal to purchase Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 by the end of the year, company President Bill Geary said Friday.
