| ACCOMAC — Accomack County officials brought the budget back into balance from a $1.8 million deficit Wednesday by cutting $1.1 million in capital spending, removing funding for two positions in the Assessor’s office and making a one-time, $314,000 transfer from a fund set aside to close the landfill. |
