Dave Rostedt, the director of Grays Harbor Transit, says he will likely retire at the end of the year. Rostedt has overseen the transit service, which has a large fleet of buses, shuttles and vans, for the past 31 years.
A real estate listing agent got a hotter deal on a house than expected when she found the vacant home filled with smoke Tuesday morning. The Aberdeen Fire Department responded at about 11 a.m. Tuesday to the empty house on the 600 block of Stewart Boulevard to find smoke coming out a side door.
